Donating to the Program
The Charlottesville Community Scholarship Program's Board of Directors will award the third round of scholarships in the spring of 2006.
The program's assets enjoy tax-exempt status through the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, which holds them in a donor-advised fund. As of September 30, 2006, the program fund has a market value of more than $450,000, which is producing annual income of nearly $20,000.
As your generosity helps the fund grow, the number and value of awards have likewise increased.
