Seven New Scholarship Recipients Announced for 2006
The Charlottesville Community Scholarship Program's board of directors is pleased to recognize seven new scholarship recipients for 2006-2007 academic year. Scholarship winners were announced at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Chamber of Commerce's annual award luncheon on May 9th.
CCSP scholarships follow students throughout their undergraduate study, provided that they maintain satisfactory academic progress. The board has discretion to alter the amounts to reflect the students’ changing financial circumstances. The program will provide new and current scholars with $14,500 in assistance for the 2006-2007 academic year.

Christmas IS the Giving Season
December brought a final flurry of donations of $4,500 from community members and organizations. This end-of-the-year spike pushed the grand total of funds raised since the Program's inception to $151,706.
